We’re excited to offer staking rewards for Kusama (KSM), the latest addition to our suite of digital tokens available for our users to stake and increase the value of their holdings. Staking will offer rewards as high as 8% per year for depositing and holding KSM tokens. The first payout of staking rewards for KSM will be on 03/03/21. Users can stake KSM by depositing their KSM tokens to their Bitfinex accounts, and automatically receive staking rewards in their accounts on a weekly basis. KSM is the native token powering Kusama, a scalable network of specialized blockchains built using Substrate and nearly the same codebase as Polkadot, a protocol facilitating interoperability between different blockchains. This is the estimated annual staking reward for staked tokens. Actual annualized staking rewards may differ. Bitfinex makes no guarantees regarding the amount of any staking rewards.
